- Equipping The Saints

What is Paseo?

Paseo is a Christian movement that proposes no new type of spirituality, but simply a method by which one’s spirituality can develop and grow and be shared. It is very similar to other Christian denomination weekends such as Cursillo, the Methodist Walk to Emmaus, the Lutheran Via de Cristo, etc.

Now Accepting Applications for Paseo #11

Please mark your calendars for the weekend of April 20th as Paseo #11 will then take place at beautiful Camp Chandler. Lauren Hood has been selected to serve as Lay Rector and she has assembled yet another awesome staff!

Please also be in prayer about sponsoring a pilgrim for the next Paseo. Sponsorship is limited to one pilgrim per paseista (two per couple). Sponsorship is an important part of the Paseo experience. Your prayers and support of your candidate are the first step to the blessings he or she will receive during a Paseo weekend. Having one-on-one discussions about Paseo is the preferred method of introducing someone to this vital ministry.

Once you have prayed that the Lord will lead and guide your candidate to Paseo, please print and submit the Paseo Candidate Application by following the link below:

Reflections From Paseo #8 Pilgrims

"The Paseo weekend basically changed my entire perspective of God and what it means to be His child.  Before, I had basically let life's troubles consume me to the point that I was not able to experience God's love.  I now feel refreshed and unconditionally loved by my God who extends his grace to me daily.  This was truly a life changing weekend for me." - Chris Greene, Pilgrim Paseo #8

“The love of God is powerful, transforming, healing, and, at times, overwhelming.  I suppose that is why Paul prays that we would have the “ability to grasp the love of Christ” (Ephesians 3:18).  God used Paseo #8 to reveal to me the love of God in a deeper and fuller way and, along with it, He gave the grace to receive that love.  I will always remember Paseo #8 as a time when His affection for me stood out in bold relief at a time I desperately needed it.  God is so good!” - Patrick W. Curles, Executive Minister, Trinity Presbyterian Church and Pilgrim Paseo #8

Reflections of a Past Pilgrim

At the Guest Ultreya in 2010 Mose Stuart encouraged us all with an inspiring talk on what Paseo has meant to him since he made his first weekend some years ago. His talk is included here for those of you who weren't able to attend the Ultreya and for the enjoyment of those who would like to take it all in one more time. Enjoy!

Paseo Prayer

Lord Jesus Christ,
we are Yours. Use us now for the sake of those whom You bring to this PASEO. May they find it to be the end of SELF-DOUBT, and the beginning of real PURPOSE, and may we help them claim Your Purpose in their life and make it their own. May it be for them the end of mere CONFIDENCE, and the beginning of a greater TRUST, and may we help them discover that life is not about what they are doing, but what You can do through them. May this time be the end of HOLDING ON and the beginning of LETTING GO, and may we help them find that those who surrender are those who triumph. Finally, may there be less and less of us, Lord, and more and more of You, and if there is to be a miracle in just one person’s life, help us to help make it happen
In Your Name we pray. Amen.
